Luxembourg Braderie: sleep inside the sale
Every first Monday of September, the Grande Braderie turns central Luxembourg City into a giant open-air market: from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., nearly 200 shopkeepers spread their end-of-line stock across the pedestrian streets — all the way to the Gare district. Yasha Hotel is literally inside the perimeter: step out, start bargain-hunting.
Book at the best rate →The Gare district is part of the event
The braderie is not limited to Place d'Armes: stalls run down Avenue de la Liberté to the station. From Yasha Hotel — 27 rue Joseph Junck — you are inside the event from the doorstep, no transport or parking to manage.
The back-to-school bargain tradition
Clothes, shoes, decor, appliances: city-centre shops slash prices on end-of-stock items for one full day. The 97th edition took place on Monday 7 September 2026; the tradition continues every first Monday of September.
Hunt early, recharge, head back out
The regulars' strategy: arrive at opening (9 a.m.), drop your finds at the room mid-day, head back for round two. Buffet breakfast (€17.50) before the hunt, 24/7 front desk, direct rate ~10% below the platforms.
